Hunting and Fishing Fees - Brief Summary (Finland)

Background

Fishing fees of 15 euros/year (2002) are applied to fishing and crayfishing aside from angling and ice fishing. Lure fishing incurs a fee of 27euros per annum (2002). Total revenues received by the government in 2002 were 4.7 million euros from fishery fees and 2.1million euros from lure fishing fees (Hiltunen, 2004, 17).
